All candidates and third party advertisers must file a financial statement disclosing all campaign contributions and expenses with the City Clerk’s Office.
Financial statements filed with the City are made available to the public according to the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

| August 23 | Last day for candidates to apply to the Superior Court of Justice to extend the time to file their initial financial statements and auditor’s report. |
| August 26 at 2 p.m. | Last day for all candidates, including candidates who have extended their campaign or withdrew their nomination, to file a financial statement. |
| September 25 at 2 p.m. | Last day to file a financial statement with a $500 late filing fee (penalties will not apply) |
