File a financial statement

The deadline to file a financial statement is March 30, 2027, at 2 p.m.

All candidates and third party advertisers must file a financial statement disclosing all campaign contributions and expenses with the City Clerk’s Office.

Financial statements filed with the City are made available to the public according to the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

Last day for candidates and registered third party advertisers who have a deficit and need to continue campaigning to file a notice of extension to continue campaigning.
April 29, 2027 at 2 p.m. Last day to file a financial statement with a $500 late filing fee (penalties will not apply)

How to file a financial statement

  1. Download all financial statement forms that apply to you.
    • If you ran for Mayor, Ward/Regional Councillor or School Board Trustee, download the forms for candidates.
    • If you were a registered advertiser, download the forms for third party advertisers.
  2. Submit your completed forms to the Office of the City Clerk by:
